- Not sure that they learned what they learned in school
- Have to put what they learned into practice and that feels uncomfortable;
- Not sure that they trust their boss to be their clinical supervisor because it is scary to be vulnerable with your boss
- They have questions, but they're afraid they're "dumb" questions
- They have to do this for 2 years, which is bad enough, but it could be longer
- They might change jobs during the supervised practice, which can create disruptions and delay in getting the supervision hours needed to get to their goal
For All these reasons and more, it can be a good idea to get at least some of your supervision outside your employment.
Our 4-month Group supervision package provides a new cohort each 4 months, starting February, June and October. You get:
- 4 hours of group supervision per month (the max you can get in group supervision for full time work)
- Group supervision 2 Saturdays a month, so it is outside your work hours, but leaves you plenty of time for your regular life
- Supervision plan and verification completed at the start and finish of each term.
- Early notice of the Knowledge Base topics so you can reserve your seat before it sells out.
