Certification isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay. It’s a rare student who can confidently remember and apply everything from EMDR basic training right away. Individual consultation sessions can help refresh your memory, and that’s okay too.

If certification feels right for you, it offers a road map: a process followed by thousands of other therapists for what it takes to really know EMDR and succeed in applying it with the clients YOU see.

What the path includes

  1. The consultation offered here, with support as you build your skills.
  2. 12 EMDRIA continuing education credits in a topic that interests you.
  3. Getting the reps in: 50 EMDR sessions with 25 clients.
  4. Earning the endorsement of an EMDRIA-approved Consultant and three peers.

To help protect your client-care times, consultation sessions can be scheduled first thing in the morning, in the evening, or on weekends.
